Why this class exists

Over the past years, I’ve been traveling and training with dancers and communities across Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Brazil, and beyond.

I went with the intention to improve my freestyle and deepen my understanding of dance. What I came back with was something different. The most meaningful moments were never about level or performance. They were about environment.

Spaces where people were curious, present, and supportive. Where dancing wasn’t about proving, but about exploring. Where I felt free enough to be messy, playful, and real. In those spaces, my dance changed.

Alongside that, I’ve been collecting a lot of tools, steps, and training methods from different styles and teachers. Things that have challenged me physically and expanded how I move. I want to bring those into this space as well.

So this is not only about support and open exploration. It’s also about training seriously, building strength, refining coordination, and pushing your dance vocabulary further.

This class holds both: exploration and discipline.
